  1. Congrats and well done to JJ for promoting SL to educators of Universities and some Interesting discussions going on in general but I'm afraid I would be put off doing anything in second life just by watching this film . You might aswell of built lego models and filmed them in a very slow stop motion and as for Marius fiddling with his viewer2 controls!! it made SL look like a very complicated techy business to manage which it isn't or dosn't have to be .
It's alway's been hard to entice people inworld as the Lindens have found but it's such a shame that the audience did not see Sl how it can be. After all virtual worlds are a "visual" interactive thing that's the whole point.

  2. depends a lot on what the RL moderator is saying to the audience I have found. This time I wasnt there physically, but a competent person in RL explaning some of the techy looking stuff away has always been a huge help i found in the past.

  3. just as a side note... RL audiences at UWA have always had a better time of it when I had been there in RL giving them background and talking through what to expect as opposed to when I asked someone else to handle it who didnt have that focus/undestanding of how o ease the audience into the experience and help them through
