Transcending Borders: 2. Ginger Lorakeet and Sheba Blitz

The UWA 3D Art & Machinima Challenge: Transcending Borders continues with two more early entries.

Ginger Lorakeet is well known for her wonderful immersive wall-hanging dioramas. This time we have a sort of terrarium with a fanciful animated scene about the astonishment of being in a virtual world, "In a dream somewhere between real life & Second Life." 

Sheba Blitz had an entry in the recent Freedom Project, and I'm delighted to see a followup entry in the new show. The piece is called "Android Ascension" and is a beautiful abstract construction of pyramidal forms with a turning spherical core that shows images of figures climbing an endless spiral stair.
